Pack 92 will schedule various camping trips throughout the year. Here you will find all of the information about the upcoming campouts, including links, directions and registration instructions. Deanna Alexander, our Camping Chairman, accepts camping registrations by email at camping@pack92.net or in person at the Pack Meetings. Keep checking back for more information as it becomes available.

Hog Island Campout
January 20-22, 2012

Florida Forest Service - Hog Island Recreation Area
Activities will include Hiking, Fishing, Biking, and other camping favorites. There are lots of hiking trails, off-road biking trails, and even the paved "Withlacoochee Rail Trail" is nearby. The camp area is very near the banks of the Withlacoochee river.

Directions:
  1. Travel I-75 North from Brandon to Exit 309 (51 miles)
  2. Take exit 309 toward Webster/Sumter 470 (0.1 mile)
  3. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for County Rd 476B/Florida Nat'l Cemetery/County Rd 476 and merge onto Co Rd 673 (0.2 mile)
  4. Continue onto C 476B (0.3 mile)
  5. Keep right at the fork (2.9 miles)
  6. Turn left onto County Rd 476 W (2.2 miles)
  7. Turn left onto Co Rd 635 (0.8 mile)
  8. Continue onto Pioneer Rd

Splash-O-Ree
April 13-15, 2012

Some of the events will include: BB's, Archery, Wrist Rockets, Water Games, Crafts, Saturday Night Campfire, and a surprise or two are in store for you! This will be an event you won't want to forget!

Sleepover at Lowry Park Zoo (Awesome Australia theme)
Sat, May 12, 6:30pm - Sun, May 13, 9:30am

G'day, mates! Head to the land down under for an awesome Aussie adventure where you will get to take a dip in the billabong and encounter some of the unique animals of this continental country.

Sleepovers include:

  • Up-close encounter with animals
  • Behind-the-scenes tour
  • Pizza snack & light breakfast
  • Theme - specific activities/crafts

Any interested families must submit a $10 non-refundable deposit due by February 13 that will be deducted from your final total. Pricing is $35 per person and children must be between the ages of 6 and 18. Remaining balance is due by April 2.
