About the Masonic Park:
Founded in 1969, the Masonic Park and Youth Camp is 204 pristine acres of wilderness property located in Wimauma. The property is bordered by three quarter miles of the Little Manatee River, has over 125 acres of hiking trails, and a lake that is home to various aquatic life, including bass, sunfish, catfish, and soft shell turtles. Throughout the park, you'll find some of the most beautiful wildlife that Florida has to offer.
The Masonic Park and Youth Camp was designed to encourage and empower kids to participate in traditional outdoor recreational activities.
Directions from Baylife Church:
1. Head South on Kingsway Rd. towards Brandon Blvd.
2. Turn right onto W Brandon Blvd/FL-60. Continue to follow FL-60.
3. Merge onto I-75 S toward Naples.
4. Take the County Hwy-672 exit, EXIT 246, toward Apollo Beach.
5. Turn slight right onto Big Bend Rd
6. Turn right onto US Highway 301 S.
7. Continue heading South on US Hwy 301 S.
8. The Masonic Park will be on your Left.
9. Follow Pack 92 Camping signs once you're in the park.
Important Notice about Fishing:
Fishing is catch and release ONLY.
Youth may fish.
Adults may fish ONLY IF they have a fishing license.
What to Bring:
Your children will need to bring thier own fishing poles, equipment & bait. None will be provided. Also, if any families have any additional baseball supplies, like bats, balls, and helmets, please bring those along so we are adequately supplied. As with every campout, it is very important to bring flashlights and/or lanterns for your family. It gets dark early, and setting up camp and be able to see your whereabouts will be close to impossible without adequate lighting. We must teach our cubscouts to "Be Prepared!"

Please tell your friends, family, co-workers, neighbors, neighbor’s family, pastor, hairdresser, chiropractor, etc. to bring us their dirty cars and we will shine up their ride! Post to your Facebook page or any other social networking you have and even print and pass the flyer out to others! Let’s get the word out so our boys can have an incredible cub scouting experience!
There’s just something fun about watching our boys get all soapy and wet washing cars and trucks!

Spook-O-Ree is a fun-filled District Campout for Cub Scouts and their families which takes place in mid to late October. Camping is for Friday and Saturday nights. Cub Scouts have the opportunity to earn belt-loops, including BB Gun and Archery, which can only be earned at Council or District camps. There will be a haunted house and a costume contest during the campfire program on Saturday night.
We are camping at Flaming Arrow Scout Reservation (map) on 10/24 thru 10/26.
Campers can arrive anytime between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Friday evening, or before 9:00 a.m. on Saturday morning.
You won’t want to miss out on this fun campout!

Pack 92 is camping at Sertoma Youth Ranch in Brooksville Friday, October 3rd - Sunday, October 5th
If you want to come on Saturday only, thats fine too.
Sertoma stands for "Service to Mankind"
The ranch is a non-profit organization who's mission it is to provide a rustic outdoor recreational area for the children of florida. Since they were founded in 1974, over 1500 youth groups have utilized the ranch for overnight camping.
The Sertoma Youth Ranch believes that children should inherit this small haven of florida in its natural state, and that caring, committed people, banded together, can and do make a difference.
The campout is free. The ranch requests, but does not require, donations of supplies. This includes restroom supplies, like toilet paper and cleaning products, and also building supplies, like electrical supplies, wood, fencing, or paint (a good opportunity to clean out your garage!) We will have boxes set out at the sign up table to collect these items pre-campout, so that you dont have to worry about bringing them with you to the ranch.
In the free youth camping area that the ranch offers, there are multiple bathrooms and showers, however no electrical hookups.
Scouts will have the opportunity to earn their soccer belt loop at the campout. If they already have that belt loop, they can show up just to show off their skills! They'll also be able to earn their astronomy belt loop Saturday evening.
If you've never been to a campout, this is a great one to attend because it is free and because the Sertoma youth ranch is a very natural and pleasant location. The camping area is shaded, there is a small creek that runs through the site, there are trails, a large open field, and even a playground.
There is a sign up sheet & information packet available at the table (during Den and Pack meetings).

Crossover is held one Saturday in near the end of the school year and marks the end of the Cub Scout year. This is a ceremony where our scouts will “cross over” to their next rank. The ceremony will be held at a location with a wooden bridge, and the scouts will be called individually to cross the bridge. As each boy crosses, he will be greeted by the other scouts and will have his neckerchief replaced by new rank's neckerchief (provided by the Pack). Some parents/guardians like to also bring the new slide and/or hat to further celebrate the promotion. Note: Webelos I promoting to Webelos II do not change any part of their uniforms. Scouts MUST be dressed in their Class A uniforms for this ceremony.
The ceremony is followed by a time of fellowship and food.
Crossover 2015 will be held at Medard Park at 10:00 A.M.
