Edward Medard Campout

Pack 92 will be camping at Edward Medard Park in Plant City, Florida (map) April 4th – 6th.

Families have the option of camping on Friday night, Saturday night or both nights.  The cost is $1 per person per night.  There is also a Saturday day-only option  for families that wish to come out and enjoy the activities without camping.  For Saturday only, there is a $2 park entrance fee to pay at the gate.  The entrance fee is waived for campers.

Additionally, there will be a Raingutter Regatta Event at this campout!  Scouts can purchase a boat for $5 that they will decorate and assemble and race down a pool track.  This will be a lot of fun!

This is a fun-filled District Campout for Cub Scouts and their families, which will take place April 25th – 27th, 2014 at Flaming Arrow Scout Reservation (map).  Camping is for Friday and Saturday nights.  The cost is $16 per Scout and $10 for adults and siblings.  Age 5 and under are free.

This year’s theme is Mudder Earth and promises lots of fun, lots of opportunities to earn belt-loops, and lots of mud!  Its focus is on celebrating Spring and Earth Day in a fun and exciting way while the Scout learns the fundamentals of “Do Your Best”.  Cub Scouts have the opportunity to earn their BB Gun and Archery belt loops, which can only be earned at Council or District camps.  You won’t want to miss out on this fun campout!

Blue and Gold Banquet

The Blue and Gold Banquet takes place following an abbreviated Pack meeting in February. This is a celebration of the birthday of Scouting. Families in the Pack gather for a sit down meal and cake dessert, and enjoy an evening of fun and cheer. Oftentimes, special guests are invited and during the Pack meeting portion of the evening, leaders and other adults who have helped the Pack are recognized for their efforts throughout the year.

This year's Blue and Gold Banquet is scheduled for Monday, February 24th and is being organized by our Webelos 1 Den!

Scouts should be dressed in their Class A uniforms.  Adults and siblings may dress casually.

Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser

Our scouts will be serving a pancake breakfast to invited guests at the Valrico Beef O'Brady's on Saturday, January 18th.  Check back for more details.

Pinewood Derby 2013-2014

From a rectangular piece of pine, Scouts work with parents to shape, sand, paint and decorate a race car. The Pack gathers in February for the Pinewood Derby, where all Scouts race their cars on a special track owned by the Pack. Scouts compete for speed or design, with typically five design categories to choose from.  Our Pinewood Derby is scheduled for Saturday, February 22, 2014 and will be held in the auditorium where we meet for Pack meetings.

Winners get to race at the Timucua District Pinewood Derby.  Follow the links below for more information:

For many Scouts, this is their favorite event of the year!
